Missing out...
So, friends, I am sitting in my apartment feeling a bit melancholy. My family is heading on a vacation this weekend, and I'm missing out. My sister, her boyfriend, my parents and two of their friends are heading down south for a week at the lake. Alas, my job and lack of finances are keeping me here in LA. During my high school and college years, the family made an annual trek up to a small channel of lakes in Minnesota. Man, those were the days. It is my hope that in a couple of years the family vacation will include yours truly once again.

Hey Craig-
I feel like I miss out on a lot of fun things at home too. But then I always think that the alternative would have been working at the Times Republican or something. Most days I am thankful that I am on a journey where I don't know what will happen next.
How about another Asbury Chronicals? HD, GT, and DAV have yet to make an appearance.
Hey dudes!
Indeed, sir. I too am glad I have not chosen the alternative. I tried that for a year and, well you know how that went. As for another Chronicles, I'll see what I can muster up.
Anybody got a beer?
Hey Craig...

Nice blog. I too created one too...and NO, it won't be anything like our friend Jackson's. How are things in LA? Yes, I feel your pain on more than once occasion is feeling left out. I do miss home, but then when I enter those lush green hills of Marshalltown, I find myself not knowing anyone except family and making daily if not nightly trips to the local Wal-Mart because that is the THING to do.
Love ya man,
JOHN
Yo, Craiger. Good to hear from you man! I've enjoyed your blog a lot . . . when you write, ahem. I would facebook you as you request, but alas I don't have an account. My email is ryan@uchurch.tv. Drop me a line -- and yes, more Asbury Chronicles please.
Craig, I actually have nothing to post about this blog, nor did I really mean to comment you. I fell asleep waiting for your next blog and must have hit the send button.
And we wait...
Maybe I should write something again.
